Academics

Faith Christian Academy offers both elementary (grades K-6) and secondary (grades 7-12) academics. By utilizing a proven classical method of instruction that emphasizes parental responsibility, students will be equipped with the academic “tools” for life-long learning and will be taught to think critically, reason clearly, and communicate effectively from a biblical worldview.

Christ-Centered

In all its levels, programs, and teaching, Faith Christian Academy seeks to do the following:
I. Teach all subjects as parts of an integrated whole with the Scriptures at the center
(2 Timothy 3:16-17);
II. Provide a clear model of the biblical Christian life through our administration and
faculty (Matthew 22:37-40);
III. Encourage every student to begin and develop his relationship with God the Father
through Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 19:13-15).

Classical

I. Emphasize grammar, logic, and rhetoric in all subjects (see definitions below).
II. Encourage every student to develop a love for learning and live up to his academic
potential.
III. Provide an orderly atmosphere conducive to the attainment of the above goals.

Definitions:
Grammar: the fundamental rules of each subject.
Logic: the ordered relationship of particulars in each subject.
Rhetoric: the clear expression of the grammar and logic of each subject.
